We are happy to offer this project course! Build a handy stool to last a few lifetimes. This course will run two to three days depending on student progress. Day one will consist of an augmented version of our intro class, geared towards learning and cutting dovetails. Then move into prepping parts for the stool. By day two, we will be plowing forward on our project. You’ll be using dovetail and mortise and tenon joints to hold your piece together. Throughout, there will be opportunities to personalize your stool all the while learning solid woodworking skills. Day three will consist of wrapping up construction and applying a hand rubbed finish. We guarantee you will come out of this with a new outlook and appreciation for woodworking. See you at the shop!
